Treatment Estimates

All treatment estimates are provided verbally during the appointment with the Dentist, or by telephone. Written estimates are also provided in your  treatment plan following the initial consultation with the clinician.

Please note, all estimates provided are approximate and the final fee could be greater or lower then the estimate depending on clinical or radiographic findings during stages of treatment. Patients are kept informed with regards to cost during the course of their treatment. All estimates provided are valid for up to 6 months, but are subject to revision to reflect any deterioration in the condition of the dental area concerned or increased material/lab costs/inflation etc.

Should you agree to a proposed treatment plan, we have the right to request 50% of the proposed treatment fees in advance of the treatment commencing. Once the treatment is completed, the remaining 50% of the treatment charged should be settled no later than at the time of the final appointment.

Consultation Fees

The practice operates a payment scheme for new patients arranging an Initial Consultation. The price of the appointment is to be settled in advance to secure the booking. We do not operate a credit account system and require fees to be settled at the appointment at which treatment is provided. 

Our Initial Consultations typically last 45-60 minutes, if that is insufficient for a full discussion (whether on account of complexity, the need for further diagnosis, analysis or otherwise) the dentist may require a Review appointment in which to deliver the results of analysis conducted between appointments.  The cost of such Review appointments starts at £80 each.

If you fail to attend your Consultation or Review without a cancellation notice of at least 48 hours, the deposit (or advance for the consultation/review/treatment, if greater) is non-refundable.  Failing to attend an Invisalign appointment without 48 hours’ notice incurs a £50 fee.

In the case of appointments with our Consultant Oral Surgeon for extraction, the practice requires an advance of £250 towards the clinical time which is non-refundable in the event that, for whatever reason, a patient decides not to go ahead with the extraction on that day.

Reports and Opinions

Given the highly qualified backgrounds of our Clinicians, we put considerable care and attention into our Written Reports and Second Opinions.  If after your individual Consultation you’d like a Written Report, or you’ve recently seen another dentist and would like a Second Opinion, these start from £250 (in addition to the Consultation Fee).  Preparing any written note, including a list of treatment options or prices, incurs a fee of £50.

Hygiene Fees

The practice operates a payment scheme for appointments with our hygienist. For new (direct access) patients visiting the practice for hygiene services without an examination performed by one of our in-house dentists, a £50 fee towards the cost of the hygiene appointment is to be settled in advance to secure the booking. If you fail to attend your hygiene appointment without a cancellation notice of at least 48 hours, the deposit (or advance fee if greater) is non-refundable. For active patients, the remaining fee for the hygiene service is to be settled at the appointment.

Administrative Fees

If you’d like to be sent copies of x-rays, CBCT scans and/or patient records, the practice may first charge a reasonable administrative fee of up to £50 per document.
