Cancellation Policy

Late Cancellation or Missed Appointments

We seek to help you make adjustments to your diary, but please give as much notice as possible. We need a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or alter an appointment so that we can help other patients who may need to see us.  

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may, at our discretion, incur a cancellation fee of £50 or more depending on the time allocated with the clinician and the deposit taken (whichever is greater).

If without 48 hours’ notice, for any reason you fail to attend an appointment that is expected to take more than 90 minutes, the practice has the right to  charge 50% of the treatment fee or all of any advance payment you made for that treatment.

For new patients, failure to attend or provide 48 hours’ notice results in forfeiture of the deposit/advance payment.

For active patients, failure to attend incurs a cancellation charge if our “fail to attend” / “cancellation” policy is breached.

Please be aware that if two or more consecutive appointments are cancelled without 48 hours’ notice (or you failed to attend without good reason), we may decline to accept further appointments at the practice.
