Dr. Antonoglou graduated as a dentist in 2011 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and has since accumulated over a decade of experience in clinical practice, research, and teaching, firmly establishing himself within the dental profession.

He has been based in the UK since 2020, where he provides personalized, patient-cantered care and manages a broad range of dental issues. Dr. Antonoglou collaborates closely with patients to devise tailored treatment plans and performs various procedures, including non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatments, with a focus on dental implant procedures. His expertise within periodontology includes digitally planned gingival recession coverage and full-arch implant treatments.

Dr. Antonoglou has pursued extensive postgraduate education across six European institutions: Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), the University of Oulu (Finland), the University of Umeå (Sweden), Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), the Medical University of Graz (Austria), and King’s College London (UK).

Passionate about teaching, Dr. Antonoglou shares his knowledge with undergraduate dental students at King’s College London, providing weekly tutorials on diagnosing and managing periodontal disease. He also mentors trainee periodontists in surgical techniques. To enhance his teaching skills, he completed a postgraduate certificate in clinical education from King’s College in 2024.

His research has been widely published in high-impact international journals in Periodontology and Dental Implantology, amassing over 1228 citations. His primary research interests include the relationship between systemic and periodontal health and the development of novel ceramic materials for dental implants.

Dr Antonoglou is fluent in six languages — English, Greek, Spanish, German, Swedish, and Finnish. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys reading, cycling, and running, and is passionately involved in volunteering with the Red Cross and the Health Point Foundation, reflecting his strong commitment to community care and humanitarian values.
