How much does teeth whitening cost?
Our teeth whitening treatments starts at £180 for a “top up”, other options include a 2 week at home whitening course (£450), and our in-clinic advanced whitening (£600).
What happens during your teeth whitening treatment?
We offer in-chair and at-home teeth whitening, during your consultation Dr Millie she will discuss which may be most suitable for you after assessing your oral health and taking a digital scan of your teeth.
For the in-chair teeth whitening treatment, we apply a whitening gel on your teeth. This gel is activated with a special light (in the blue frequency, not laser). After rinsing the gel off, we repeat the process twice more at the same appointment. We will evaluate the results as we progress and may schedule additional sessions for optimal whitening.
For at-home whitening course we use the digital scan to prepare personally tailored clear plastic whitening trays with specially designed “pockets” that hold the whitening gel. The whitening trays usually take a week to manufacture at which time you can collect them and your whitening gel from us – ready to start the two week treatment! You’ll use the whitening trays and gel for 90 minutes each day for two weeks and then return so that we can assess progress with digital photographs. If you’d like to improve the whiteness further then additional gel can be provided with the approval of the dentist.
